as much as i may have liked you or still like you, you want to be just friends and nothing more.

i respect that.

and so i feel no more obligation to do anything more than necessary to please you since it wouldnt really matter to you anyway.

i make mistakes. i wont say sorry.

but caught up in them you still are then i guess you're the one who's not able to move on and not me.

i've always grown up hearing how the stars in the night sky can never be seen in singapore because of the bright light that engulfs our city which is almost never dark kudos to the welfare we recieve in the form of public lighting.

but tonight the stars seemed awfully bright even while walking along the road home lined with street lamps. and believe you me, and i knew what i saw, i saw it streak across the sky just like that, bigger than the previous one i'd seen in bintan which started my realisation and fascination of the beauty that lie within the night sky that we experience but never see for every sun that sets.

that shooting star just passed me by just as i decided to look up. i dont know if i'd call it luck since scientifically in an hour its possible to see between 4 to 20 of them if you keep staring. but heck it with that science and astronomy crap. when i saw it, i wished and prayed with all i had.

what else would you do if you saw one?

i lost my dog and found it again today! (THANKS kind souled couple=)).

and my mum dented the car whilst in search of thy dog.

wonder if my dog knows the trouble it causes.

having dengue fever is not fun.

having to be stuck in a hospital bed for 5 days straight without being able to smell the exhaust polluted air outside is even more un-fun.

even walking to the toilet was an exciting trip for me.

thats how bored i was.

dont get dengue. if the sickness doesnt get you, the boredom will.

the bitchy me. you call us un-mannered and unbecoming of what we are supposed to be. chiding us for every little mstake that we make and even when we dont do anything wrong, you remind us of the consequences of what will happen if we dont.

the irony of it all is that you still want us to think for ourselves without ever giving us a chance to even committ a wrong-doing and repent for what we have done by feeling the guilt and having our conscience eat us up inside. if that is the case what use was the phrase which goes shi bai shi cheng gong zi mu (forgive my forgetting the english version) when you dont allow us to fail in the first place?

then you continue to blame the family, our families for the failure to educate us and properly bring us up well like how the previous generation was brought up. let me just be shallow for a moment and push the blame to someone else. you see our long days printed out in black and white. we stay in this place longer than some people stay in their cubicles in the office. we go back home barley in time for dinner. and not just for our age group. even primary school children are starting to have longer days. and you still want to blame the lack of proper up bringing when it is your bosses that remove the precious few moments we can spend at home?

were you also not once a kid growing up and not always seeing eye to eye with your parents? maybe for your time to defy would just to not listen to instruction of your parents. we're doing the same, defying (albeit, disrespecting your parents is not a good thing) but in another form. maybe more radical and more unseemly but defying all the same. maybe you're just old and dont see it as we do. have an open mind. i'm not calling you all old fashioned. just that sometimes we might see things differently from you? and thats one thing i think we all agree on.

its hard to grow up yes. i'm going through it. i'm sure you all also have but just in another time, another place. you cant expect it to all be the same. we're just finding a way to get out of all that "restricts" us. havent you ever had the rebel take over your mind for a second and just for that moment when your boss says something to you, you feel like going "fuck you"?

so maybe not all of us are the same. heck, even within us, we're different. the extremists who take advantage of every situation and the conformists who unfortunately will always finish last. after all, nice guys DO finish last eh? just let us be and maybe, just maybe we'll be lucky enough to fall flat on our faces and get up and continue walking, remembering how we tripped. all this by ourselves, without your guidance.

and btw, happy anniversary mummy and daddy

Let it be known from this day forth in this land that thy following poem is written in dedication of KOH HUIMIN! (also known as michelle=P)

How have you been all this while?
It would be great to once again see your smile.
But you've moved to a school so far away,
Not like i could see you everyday.

Miss the days when all of us were together!
Remember when we all had ZhouJieLun fever?=P
And also when we played pool 24/7?
It was like the ultimate school ponning haven!

Hope you're having a great time in your current school,
You know it wouldn't hurt to yue me out for a game of pool!>=P
We can discuss all your future saosao's!
So you won't have to worry for me anymore with furrowed brows.

Yea the times we all had were great fun,
Remember boating with BigKev under the sun?
Hope we have the chance to relive it all over again,
And play like out lives were a never ending game!

haha oh the carefree days of 1st intake that i'll never forget=) hmm this also goes out to 1st intake 1t24 of cj yea? and any other person out there who still misses the times of jan to march and ponning school=P
